About the Directors
Cara Connolly and Martin Clark both studied fine art photography at the Glasgow School of Art. Connolly graduated in 2000, and Clark in 2003. He went on to the Royal College of Art in London, where he continued to make photographs and films. Connolly continued her practice in Glasgow, developing her interest in sound recording and video art. In 2009, the two formed Connolly Clark Films. Up until now they have made documentaries. Exchange & Mart is their first dramatic film.
