About the Director
Musa Syeed's first feature film, Valley of Saints, won the World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. He previously codirected Bronx Princess, which screened at the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival, and produced A Son’s Sacrifice, named the best documentary short at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. Syeed's current features in development are supported by the San Francisco Film Society, the TorinoFilmLab, and the Tribeca Film Institute.
