A young woman and her four-year-old daughter drive across desolated hills. Everything looks fine and they seem to enjoy the ride, until an accident sends them into the nightmare of darkness.
About the Director
Born in Mexico City, Guillermo Arriaga began his career as a teacher and novelist. His first film as screenwriter, Amores Perros, won the BAFTA Award for best non-English film. He followed this with two more Alejandro González Iñárritu collaborations, 21 Grams and Babel, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, for which Arriaga received the prestigious Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
