About the Director
Morgan Spurlock’s first film, Super Size Me, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2004 and won him the Directing Award. In 2010, he was nominated for a primetime Emmy Award for The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice! Currently Spurlock is working on Inside Man, an original primetime series for CNN, and is in preproduction on a 3-D concert documentary about one of the world’s most popular music acts, One Direction.
