About the Director
Artist/filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio. He has a BFA from the University of Akron and an MFA from Ohio University and is currently a professor of art at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. Everson has made six feature films and more than 90 shorts, including such award-winning films as Erie, Quality Control, Ten Five in the Grass, Cinnamon, Spicebush, and Emergency Needs.
