    About the Director

    Fyzal Boulifa is a British filmmaker of Moroccan descent. He is the writer and director of several short films, including Burn My Body—described by Sight & Sound as “extreme” and “expertly directed”—and Whore, winner of the 2010 Grand Prix du Jury at the Angers Premiers Plans film festival. His most recent film, The Curse, won the Illy Prize for best short film in the Directors’ Fortnight at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
