Damien Chazelle directed his first feature, Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, while an undergraduate at Harvard University. It was named one of the best films of the year by the New York Times, the Village Voice, Film Comment, the Boston Globe, and other publications. Chazelle's screenplay “The Claim,” was included in the 2010 Black List, and Grand Piano, based on another of his screenplays and starring Elijah Wood and John Cusack, is currently in postproduction.
