Director Grzegorz Jaroszuk, born in Warsaw, graduated from the directing department of the Polish National Film School in Lodz in 2011 . During his studies he made six short films, which screened at a number of international film festivals. Frozen Stories (2011) has already won several awards, including the Pianifica Prize at Locarno Film Festival and the grand jury prize for Live Action Short at AFI Film Festival. The film was also nominated for several European Academy Film Awards.
