Àlex Lora Cerca was awarded first prize in the Fulbright Program’s international seminar video competition (2011). He is from Barcelona and is currently based in New York. Lora Cercos has studied filmmaking and worked professionally across Europe and the Americas. His films have been showcased in more than 40 countries—almost 300 international film festivals— and have been honored with many prizes and honorable mentions. Lora Cercos has taken part in the Berlinale Talent Campus and the Cannes Short Film Corner, and he has been nominated twice for a Gaudí Catalan-language film award.
