Douglas Hart was the bass guitarist for the 1980s band The Jesus and Mary Chain. He has since directed many music videos for other cult bands. In 2009 he directed the documentary Manic Street Preachers: Shadows and Words. The short film Long Distance Information is his first foray into drama.
