A woman, a transgendered man, and their cat travel toward a mysterious roadside attraction known as "The Thing."
Rhys Ernst Focusing on story rather than identity, Rhys Ernst creates stylistic, character‐driven personal dramas, and he places queer and transgendered characters into larger narratives. He attended Hampshire College and received his MFA in film/video from CalArts in 2011. Ernst received a 2003 Princess Grace Honorarium and was the 2010 HBO Point Scholar. He also was recently named a 2012 Project:Involve Fellow (Film Independent). He lives in Los Angeles. |
